My wife Ella and I, and our two dogs (Diane and Thoreau), enjoy hiking, biking, bird watching, and studying horticulture throughout Oregon.
I'm a 2010 graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University and hold a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. As a senior, I produced, edited, and co-wrote the 30-minute documentary, Autism: Suffering in Silence, a film focusing on the co-occurring conditions often associated with ASD.
My resume includes 8 years writing social media, website copy, and blog content for medical professionals and small businesses online, and 10 years working in television news production with a focus on multimedia storytelling, directing, and video editing.
In 2011, my EDM blog, The Get Downnn (now retired) was awarded Best Music Blog by the Phoenix New Times.
